As the spring time approaches one can’t help but think of their up-coming plans for spring break. However, maybe you’re a bit concerned about how you wish to spend spring break because you feel tied down to projects at work. Well, there are always the shortened weekend retreats, or maybe you can plan your vacation with all the necessary resources such as internet, and computer in mind. However, many times vacation and work are two different sides of the spectrum which are too polar opposite to be able to mix. Well for the sea lover, mixing work with vacation doesn’t have to mean staying docked all spring break. In fact, with satellite internet you can still be able to connect to the internet while you are away fishing or exploring the wild blue sea.
With a satellite internet connection you can gain access to the internet no matter where the location and the speed will be of high quality. In fact when compared with the other two main internet service providers: Cable and DSL, satellite internet seems to offer the best service without limitations. For example, cable internet may be one of the most widely used internet service providers but the reality of cable internet is that unless you are satisfied with your already existing cable connection, it is a more expensive option. If you aren’t satisfied with your cable television, cable internet can be a limiting service because you have to receive cable from the same service provider.
Your other option is the faster and relatively new service of DSL. Unlike cable internet, DSL has no service limitations and runs at a very clear and fast quality. DSL would seem like a good option, but this is only if your boat plans on remaining docked because the main limitation to DSL internet service is that it cannot receive service in many remote areas of the country let alone the middle of the San Francisco Bay. Due to its technology, a DSL signal can only be transmitted from location with built in copper phone wiring. If your boat has no phone wiring your DSL doesn’t stand a chance.
Your most flexible option would therefore be a satellite internet broadband connection. Satellite internet is at least 50 times faster than standard dial-up, isn’t limited to service provider coverage and has an unlimited range of service from any bay, sea, mountain, canyon or desert. As long as you have a working satellite dish you’ll be able to receive the internet signal. So what does this mean?
Well, your vacation can take on a both relaxing and productive purpose as you can enjoy sunny majesty of the sea while also being able to check e-mails, send documents and complete any other type of work at home. You can also send up to the minute photos of the big one you caught to jealous co-workers stuck in the office. You will experience a new way to both vacation and work with the help of a strong satellite internet connection.
