If you’re an “MLM’er” like me and you are always listening to training videos in your down time when you’re not prospecting, the last thing you need to do is waste time. Now I’m not talking about prerecorded tapes or CD’s, because they work properly and don’t waste your time. I’m talking about the “video’s” you want to listen to from your favorite successful MLM trainers on their blogs on the internet. The first thing I asked myself, was, “If these guys are such hot shot sellers, why can’t they all make a decent video for the internet?” I still haven’t got the answer to this, but I suspect they really don’t care. I suspect this, because not all trainers’ videos on the internet are choppy.
The first thing I did, to try and solve this problem, was call my internet provider and computer specialist because I thought the problem was me–my equipment that is. When I had them check, we found out that my high speed was working right and so was my computer with all its Flash Players and stuff. They just told me when I start trying to watch an internet video and its choppy, it’s not me, it’s just cheap, OR my “high speed” is HIGH enough. So I’d have to make a decision: either stop watching it, or put up with it. Ironically though, it was the very interesting videos with the most important info I needed to learn and apply, that were the most difficult to squeeze through my inferior and so, called, “high speed”! Because I wasn’t about to put up with garbage production values to glean the valuable info, here’s what I discovered:
When the video you’re watching and listening to on the internet is so choppy, that the speaker can’t go without one word before the video freezes for several seconds, just put it on pause and do something else! That’s it! Whatever you do while you wait, is up to you, but that’s how you can listen to a choppy video smoothly, without it driving you over the edge in frustration! Now I know why so many internet marketers and MLM “newbies” go bald right after they start out: they haven’t gone bald “naturally”, they’ve pulled their own hair out while going crazy trying to watch videos that don’t work right!
So when you find an internet video that’s too choppy to watch, just put it on pause and, do something else for a while and then go back to it. When you press “play” you’ll find that the video has had enough time to load and catch up with itself, and it will play smoothly for you right through to the end! That’s how I wrote this article!
