Internet Keeps Crashing – Learn How to Fix Internet Problems

Internet browser crashing problem is commonly experienced by the internet users. This problem may occur in various situations like malware infected, malfunctioning add-ons are installed, and so on.

Scan your Computer

Internet keeps crashing when a virus is infected to your computer. Scan the full computer with a good antivirus and remove the viruses, if any.

Scan your Registry

Registry problems, incorrect configurations in the web browser registry entries cause internet keeps crashing. Scan your registry, fix the internal issues and restart your computer. Download good Registry Cleaner software.

Disable Malfunctioning Add-Ons

Add-Ons refer to the third party objects, elements installed to a web browser. They offer various functionalities related to your web experience. By disabling the malfunctioning add-ons, you may fix internet keeps crashing problem.

1. Open your web browser.

2. Click Tools | Manage Add-Ons in case of Internet Explorer.

3. Select the All Add-Ons option from the Show drop down box.

4. Select the third party add-on which is not functioning properly, and click Disable button.

5. Click Close button and restart your web browser.

Disable Sandbox Feature

Internet keeps crashing if Google Chrome is running with Sandbox feature. Disable it so as to fix the problem.

1. Click Start button.

2. Type Google Chrome.

3. From the Search Results, right click Google Chrome result, and select Properties option.

4. You may see a path to Google Chrome. Modify it so that the following line should appear next to it:

–no-sandbox

5. Click Apply | OK.

Stop Third Party Services

While you are browsing, try to stop the third party services so that the maximum focus of your computer will be on your web browser.

Use a System Utilities software that includes an inbuilt Services Optimizer feature. You no longer need finding and disabling the unnecessary services, as it will perform this task automatically for you. Just click Optimize Services.

Increase the Security Level to High

Internet keeps crashing if the spywares are taking advantage of low/ medium level browser security. Following are the steps for Internet Explorer users:

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Click Tools | Internet Options.

3. Click Security tab.

4. Move the Security Level for this Zone sidebar to High option.

5. Click Apply | OK.

Disable Toolbars

Third party toolbars installed on your web browser sometimes make internal problems and internet keeps crashing. To fix the problem you have to disable these toolbars.

1. Open your web browser.

2. Click View | Toolbars.

3. Uncheck the toolbar that you do not wish to keep on that web browser.

Install Latest Patches & Updates

Keep your computer up to date. Downloading and installing the latest patches released by your web browser manufacturer may stop fixing internet keeps crashing issue.

1. Click Start.

2. Type Windows Update and press ENTER.

3. Click Check for Updates and follow the on screen instructions.

Clean Web History

Using a System Utilities software, delete all the browsing history, including saved passwords and internet cache. This may help fixing the problem.
