South Carolina has faster mobile internet speeds than neighboring North Carolina, according to recently released Ookla rankings.

Ookla is the firm behind speedtest.com a tool that measures internet speeds using consumer data.

South Carolina’s mobile internet speeds measured 26.07 Mbps beating North Carolina’s 25.20. South Carolina still doesn’t measure up to neighboring Tennessee and Georgia with speeds of 26.37 and 28.48 Mbps, respectively.

All of the states listed above fall below the national average.

The rankings also looked at internet speeds for the big four wireless carriers. T-Mobile came out on top in the nationwide test with Verizon in second, AT&T in third and Sprint closing out the list.
