According to a recent report, a new biography of Elon Musk is scheduled for release next week, on May 19. The book – titled ‘Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future’ – has been authored by tech journalist Ashlee Vance.
Interested people can get a glimpse of the book through a lengthy excerpt published on Thursday on Bloomberg.com. In the excerpt, history of Space X has been given revealing about the dreams of Musk to send mice on Mars during the initial years of the company.
According to the report, it also unveiled about the company’s launching cargo missions to the International Space Station for NASA under a $16 billion deal. It can be said that it was not easy for Musk or for his company. To cite an example, when he filed for divorce with his wife Justine, things were not running well with Tesla.
But as time passed, his confidence brought changes and things improved. “There was a lot of schadenfreude at the time, and it was bad on so many levels. Justine was torturing me in the press…. It hurt really badly. You have these huge doubts that your life is not working”, this was according to Musk.
He really doubted that whether they would be able to overcome the situation. But Musk determination did not let Tesla to fail. In 2013, the company’s Model S sedan won Motor Trend’s Car of the Year award. The company has also received many other awards as well. ?
