Uber president Jeff Jones is quitting his post at the technology company, Recode reported on Sunday.
Sources told the news outlet that Jones determined the current conditions at Uber were “more problematic than he realized.”
The news of his departure comes after a series of scandals for Uber in 2017.
Uber CEO Travis Kalnick in February apologized after video emerged of him arguing with an Uber driver. That same month, a former engineer wrote a blog post describing experiences with sexual harassment during her time a the company.
Uber announced Jones’ hire in August of 2016, according to the company’s website.
