President Barack Obama showed off his Michael Jackson dance moves at the White House on Halloween, boogeying down with a group of D.C.-area students to “Thriller.”
The impromptu flash mob was led by the Joy of Motion Dance Company during the White House’s Halloween event on Monday.
Videos showed both the president and first lady Michelle Obama joining in on the dancing, apparently trying to remember the moves from the King of Pop’s iconic Halloween music video.
The dance came as the president and first lady hosted area students and children of military families at the South Portico, which was decorated for the occasion.
The White House and its grounds were also transformed into storybook scenes for the Halloween party on Monday, featuring decor inspired by classic tales like “Mother Goose,” “Peter Pan,” “Alice in Wonderland,” “The Wizard of Oz,” and “Peter Rabbit,” according to a White House statement.
For reference, here’s the actual music video for “Thriller:”
