Max Verstappen got away with a fine. He escaped a grid penalty and of course the internet has something to say about that. Of course, the fine is quite high for a simple offense, on the other hand Verstappen will not feel it very much in his wallet.
Did the maths, if we calculate his fine to a percentage of his income, it’s 0.0017%, when you put this to average UK wage (31000 approx), Verstappen has been fined 52 great British pounds /p>— Dan (@Vipstappen) Nov 13, 2021
Only a 50k fine for Verstappen?
They’re gna do Hamilton so dirty man

“The stewards also examined a fan video taken from across the track” I think Verstappen is very happy with brasilian fans

Max Verstappen received a €50 000 fine or in other words Max receives no penalty

Could the Verstappen fine be harsher? Yes of course but that’s my Hamilton fan head talking.

Just to put Max Verstappen’s fine into context: If Forbes’ report of his pay this year ($42m) is correct, that €50k fine is 0.5 days’ income. #bbcf1

Not very often I defend Max Verstappen but a 50k fine for doing something most of the others do is a bit excessive… #F1

max verstappen after hearing that the fine the fia gave him will cost him less than he makes in a day pic.twitter.com/aqZYz4l9d6

The FIA really spent almost 24 hours looking into a penalty for Verstappen only for it to be a petty 50k fine #F1
