The internet has fallen in love with a trucker and his rescue-kitten-turned-road buddy after videos of the adorable duo were viewed millions of times on social media.
TikTok user @old_trucker, of Bear Creek, Alabama, racked up millions of views on his account after he started uploading videos of his rescue kitten Bobbie earlier this year.
Viewers were first introduced to ginger kitten Bobbie in an August video and their hearts melted with many craving more updates about the perfect partnership.
But, with a video uploaded in September more viewers learned about Bobbie, with an impressive 4.8 million tuning in for the update.
In the clip, Bobbie can be seen playing with a green ball toy on the dashboard as @old_trucker lets viewers know more about his time with the little kitten.
He said: “Bobbie is doing great. She’s doing really good. She loves that dashboard and she’s got a few toys up there that she plays with all day long.
“My glove box is open now, it stays open. I used to keep bandaids, stuff in there. One day I reached in to get some bandaids and while I patched up a couple of leaks I had on myself, she took up residence in the glove box.”
He added: “I told my wife about it and she says ‘Bobbie now owns the truck and me.’ That little cat right there is a blessing to me. I love that little thing.”
Viewers couldn’t get enough of the duo and more than 23,000 shared their thoughts in the comments.
One user said: “Aww she’s so darn sweet. I’m so happy you guys found each other.”
Another added: “This is the best. What a great companion on your journeys.”
A third commented: “This is just the sweetest and purest thing. Stay safe Bobby and old trucker [sic].”
“There’s something about that cat being so lovable and you loving it so much that just really hits ya in the feels,” a fourth user typed.
In the following months, @old_trucker amassed millions more views and regularly attracted tens of thousands of views in recent months.
@Old_trucker has continued to adopt and take care of several kittens and even takes them on the road in large pet carriers.
He now has a whopping 289,000 followers on TikTok and has amassed an impressive 3.7 million views.
