Are Florence Pugh And Will Poulter Dating? The Internet Certainly Thinks So, Here’s Why

When it comes to the internet—and their penchant for turning nothing into something—celebrities have to tread carefully, if they want to avoid being the centre of its attention.

The latest A-list star to catch the world’s eye is Florence Pugh, not for her roster of box-office-smashing films, but rather for her holiday in Ibiza alongside a certain someone.

Spotted at a beach in the archipelago of Spain, Pugh was photographed sun bathing, sipping cocktails and going for swims with her friend and former Midsommar co-star, Will Poulter.

In photos obtained by The Daily Mail, the publication stated that Pugh and Poulter were in Ibiza to attend the opening of the new Standard Hotel, where they also celebrated the birthday of mutual friend, Harris Reed. On the beach, the pair can be seen laughing together, sharing a drink and lathering on sunscreen.

Was there any PDA on display? No. Did this stop Twitter assuming that the pair were a couple? Also, no.

But why were they so quick to assume that Pugh was no longer dating Zach Braff? Well, many thought of the images of the pair spending time together as rather flirty. And of course, the internet are quick to hop on any potential relationship for Pugh that doesn’t involve Braff.

It’s no lie that many online aren’t fans of their three-year relationship, given that Pugh is 26-years-old and Braff is 47-years-old, leaving a 21 year age gap.

Dating since 2019, the Academy Award nominated actress has spent most of their relationship defending their age difference, even taking to Instagram to call out criticism over their relationship.
After sharing an Instagram post celebrating Braff’s birthday (and seemingly confirming their relationship) in 2020, Pugh was forced to follow up with an IGTV video to call out the hate that the image received.

“Within about eight minutes of the photo being posted, I had about 70% of the comments hurling abuse and being horrid, and basically bullying someone on my page,” the actress said in the video.

“It is the first time in my entire Instagram life that I’ve had to turn off the comments on my page. I have never been an Instagram page that likes that toxic vibe. I will not allow that behaviour on my page. I’m not about that.”

Outlining the fact that she’s been working since she was 17 years old, she added: “I’ll underline this fact—I am 24 years old. I do not need you to tell me who I should and should not love, and I would never in my life, ever, ever, tell anyone who they can and cannot love.”

“It is not your place, and really it has nothing to do with you. If those rules are something you do not like, please unfollow me, because the abuse you’re throwing at him is abuse you’re throwing at me.”

While the pair keep their relationship strictly private, she would regularly post a stream of cooking videos in the same kitchen Braff shares since 2020, leaving many to believe that their romance was as strong as ever.
However, since she earned a lineup of impressive roles—like Black Widow and Don’t Worry Darling—she’s been working away from home. And now, after spending a long holiday in Ibiza sans Braff, it’s left the internet wondering whether she and the Scrubs actor are still an item.

As far as we know, Pugh and Braff are still a couple. And while Twitter has had a field day over her beach day with Poulter, all we hope is that she’s making the most of that Ibiza sunlight and taking a well-deserved holiday with whomever she pleases.
