LUBBOCK, TX- A Las Vegas woman who has Lubbock ties has been arrested after stabbing her date in the neck to avenge the death of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani.
According to reports, the stabbing occurred on March 5 at 8:30 p.m. in Henderson, Nevada.
Nika Nikoubin, 21, met the victim on “Plenty of Fish”, a dating service who met up with Nikoubin and got a hotel room at the Sunset Station Hotel and Casino.
While the victim and Nikoubin were engaging in sexual acts, Nikoubin allegedly stabbed the victim in the neck with an unknown object. The victim did not go to the hospital.
Nikoubin reportedly stabbed the victim “for revenge against US Troops for the killing of Qasem Soleimani” in January 2020. She also told police that she did not intend to kill the victim, just harm him.
Qasem Soleimani was an Iranian general and head of Iran’s Quds Force and was killed in a drone strike by the United States. According to then President Donald Trump, Soleimani was responsible for the deaths of millions of people.
Nika Nikoubin graduated high school from the Talkington School for Young Woman Leaders inv Lubbock, Texas. She also might have gone to Texas Tech for a little while before attending UCLA.
