Electricity was expected to be restored by late Monday night, Jan. 3, for some of the Southern California Edison customers in Crestline without power after a powerful storm walloped the region.
For some, that outage affected their phone and internet service.
As of Monday morning, three separate outages in the San Bernardino Mountains community were in play. One, affecting 49 customers, was caused by storm damage. Another, affecting 15, had no cause listed on SCE’s website.
Both were expected to be fixed by 11 p.m.
In the third, affecting 28 customers and attributed to trees knocking down power lines, there was no estimated time for repairs.
Spectrum provides phone, internet and television service to some of those customers. Spectrum restored most of the service in areas where Edison repaired the lines, said Dennis Johnson, a Spectrum spokesman.
