Lenoir County Public Schools offer free hotspots for those without reliable internet — Neuse News

The Lenoir County Public Schools posted a message on Facebook about free hotspots for students.

Parents of LCPS students without reliable Internet service at home are eligible to receive a free hotspot for use during the school year. To request a hotspot, parents/guardians just need to call their student’s school and ask for the digital learning specialist. The DLS will take it from there. A hotspot essentially uses the same technology as a cell phone to produce a Wi-Fi signal that multiple devices can connect to. LCPS is committed to providing in-person instruction, but the district also recognizes the need for students to connect digitally to complete homework and other assignments occasionally. Parents/guardians shouldn’t be shy about asking for hotspot help.
