Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) – A new business that helps people in the Rochester area find employment is now open for business itself.
ShiftDiff is a job search engine that specializes in connecting local applicants to local employers.
The Internet-based service allows users to upload their resume and hosts a blog called The Lunch Break, which offers trade tips and expert advice to prepare people for the application and interview process.
Amorette and Raheem Miller opened their new office at 30 N. Union Street in downtown Rochester.
ShiftDiff aims to help job seekers maximize their potential and make the job search process simple and seamless.
“We want to make sure that each person in the city of Rochester, in the county of Monroe, has the best opportunity at success in life,” Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo said. “And that opportunity often starts with, to get up every day and go to a job that is fulfilling, that also fulfills your dreams of a mom, as a dad, as a parent.”
The site will also post information about upcoming training events and job fairs. You can find that information here.
