So, I think we have all been there at one point at time. You are on the phone and whomever you are talking to asks you for a phone number or some other little fact hidden in your phone and you have no idea if you can actually get to that information while on the call. Well lucky Apple did a lot of research before releasing the iPhone and came up with not just a few functions that you can do while on the phone but a list of really important and impressive functions.
The versatility of functions while on a phone call is really impressive. If you need a date, you can consult your calendar while on the phone. Curious about the weather? Not an issue, it can be checked. I was actually really surprised to find out that I could take notes while on a speaker phone call. That turned out to be a life saver when the wife sent me to the store, let me tell you. You can use Safaria to surf the web while on a call. Of course there is a host of more basic features such as Muting the call, putting the call on hold, or making a conference call are all considered standard features on today’s smart phones and Apple didn’t leave those out either.
When all is considered, that makes for a pretty impressive list of things you can do while on a call on your iPhone. It’s nice to be able to check the weather without having to stop a call, especially if you are involved with aviation and are planning a small flight on short notice. The ability to actually write notes while on the call was by far the most useful feature I have yet to find but I do have to warn you – IF you do it once, you may never carry a pen to write notes again.
