DRYDEN, N.Y. (WHCU) – Dryden Town Supervisor Jason Leifer thinks 2021 is the year for increased broadband internet in the town. He says the wheels are in motion.
“Last month we put the notice that the town would be the lead agency for the SEQR, the environmental review, and we got a letter back from the state Department of Transportation that is supportive of the project,” says Leifer.
He adds it’s a big deal. But that’s one of several steps still to come. Leifer says he hopes to break ground on the project next June.
