Facebook is tweaking its News Feed algorithm to make it more human. The tweak will minimize posts from pages that you’ve liked and display more updates from friends.
In a statement, Facebook announced that the upcoming changes will make the News Feed smarter and better by showing contents that matter.

“The second update tries to ensure that content posted directly by the friends you care about, such as photos, videos, status updates or links, will be higher up in News Feed so you are less likely to miss it,” Facebook noted.
However, the change is not going to affect the presence of posts from pages. “If you like to read news or interact with posts from pages you care about, you will still see that content in News Feed. This update tries to make the balance of content the right one for each individual person,” Facebook added.
Apart from this, Facebook will also be minimizing the random posts that friends have liked or commented.
These changes, according to Facebook, will result in a cleaner, unsophisticated News Feed that everyone will love.
