Pimpleton had six catches for 51 yards in a 31-15 loss to Western Michigan. Pimpleton has at least six catches in four of CMU’s five games. Five of his six receptions went for first downs. The receiver also returned three punts for 35 yards. Pimpleton has 35 catches for 298 yards with two touchdowns this season.
Jordan Stout, Penn State K: Stout had six touchbacks on nine kickoffs in a 59-0 win over Maryland (61.6 yards per punt). His 63.7 yard kickoff average is ranked No. 29 in the FBS. He also missed a 52-yard field goal.
Chris Cunningham, Old Dominion TE: Cunningham had his best game of the season in a 24-21 loss to East Carolina. Cunningham caught three passes for 33 yards and also caught a 2-point conversion in the final minutes to make to ECU’s lead to a field goal. Old Dominion tried, but failed to recover an onside kick after scoring with 2:13 left in the game and didn’t get the ball back.
Sean Savoy, Maryland WR: Savoy had his first catch for Maryland — a 15-yard reception in the first quarter — in the team’s 59-0 loss to Penn State.
D’Andre Plantin, North Texas OL: Plantin started at left tackle in a 46-25 loss to Houston. North Texas struggled running the ball (30 carries for 96 yards), but had success throwing the ball. Quarterback Mason Fine was 35 of 55 for 353 yards with two touchdowns. He was only sacked one time.
Darius Fullwood, William and Mary DL: Fullwood had three tackles (one solo) and a pass breakup in William and Mary’s 39-31 loss to Albany. Fullwood now has 11 tackles (five solo) with half a tackle for a loss in five games.
Cam Goode, UCF DL: Goode played, but didn’t record any statistics in a 56-21 win over Connecticut.
DuWayne Johnson, Syracuse DB: Johnson played, but didn’t record any statistics in Syracuse’s 41-3 win over Holy Cross.
Jarrett Hopple, USF OL: Hopple played, but didn’t record any statistics in a 48-21 loss to SMU.
Eric Kumah, Old Dominion WR: Kumah (undisclosed injury) didn’t play in a 24-21 loss to East Carolina.
