Josh Jackson, Maryland QB: Jackson’s ankle injury forced him to miss a second straight game, a 34-28 loss to Indiana. Maryland coach Michael Locksley shared an update on Jackson’s status this week saying he was “back at full 100 percent” and getting first-team reps. Backup Tyrrell Pigrome completed 38 of 66 passes for 428 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions the last two weeks. Jackson could return this weekend for Maryland’s visit to Maryland.
Chris Cunningham, Old Dominion TE: Cunningham had one catch for 11 yards in a 38-14 loss to UAB. It was the tight end’s reception in three games. Old Dominion (1-6; 0-3 Conference USA) has lost six straight since winning its opener over Norfolk State.
Eric Kumah, Old Dominion WR: Kumah (knee injury) didn’t play in a 38-14 loss to UAB. The receiver could redshirt this season after missing ODU’s last four games. He could play in one more game without burning a year of eligibility.
Darius Fullwood, William and Mary DL: Fullwood had two tackles and a quarterback hurry in a 38-10 loss to James Madison.
Jarrett Hopple, USF OL: Hopple played on special teams, but didn’t record any statistics in USF’s 35-3 loss to Nayy.
Cam Goode, UCF DL: Goode didn’t play in UCF’s 41-28 loss to East Carolina. The defender hasn’t played since the team’s 56-21 win over Connecticut on Sept. 28.
D’Andre Plantin, North Texas OL: Plantin missed his first game of the season, a 33-30 win over Middle Tennessee St., with a hand injury. Tech’s former offensive lineman could miss a few weeks with the injury.
Sam Denmark, Coastal Carolina WR: Denmark didn’t play in a 30-27 overtime loss to Georgia Southern.
DuWayne Johnson, Syracuse DB: Johnson didn’t play in 27-20 loss to Pittsburgh.
