After: Steve Jobs
During 1977, the Apple II was released and became a huge success. Three years later, Apple went public and raised 110 million. Jobs became the official CEO of the company in 1997 and for the next 14 years, he was the driving force behind the brand’s domination of the music and computer tech industries. Sadly, on October 5, 2011, Jobs lost his battle with a rare form of pancreatic cancer.
