Bristol Borough is working to determine what brought their website down.
The borough’s online homepage – bristolborough.com – began experiencing issues as early as last week residents said. As of Tuesday, the website displays to a landing page that does not appear to be controlled by the municipality.
Borough email addresses remained working as of Tuesday.
Borough Manager Jim Dillon said online payments have been working for some people.
The borough is still trying to determine what caused the website to go down and how to fix it, Dillon said, adding a hack is being looked into.
