The Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual membership and awards banquet Thursday evening. Along with the announcement of the 2019 community award winners, Chamber staff introduced the newly designed website for enjoymountainhome.com.
VisonAmp Marketing, is the company responsible for the new design, which is more modern, cleaner and simpler to navigate. For the first time, the Chamber’s membership directory has a direct button located on the homepage. With this and search engine optimization, even more traffic is expected to be directed toward business listings. From June 2018 to June 2019, the website had over 250,000 page views.
Anyone in the community is invited to submit their event to the events calendar or to post jobs from the home page. Also on the home page is a link to the virtual reality video the Chamber has been using to promote the area since the beginning of 2019. Simply scroll toward the bottom of the home page and click on the orange “play video” button for a 360 degree tour of the entire Twin Lakes Area.
